At NewGradMedia, we strive to provide quality, informative content to our readership of healthcare professionals, whether it’s tips on how to prepare for a job interview, clinical advice on fitting specialty contacts, how to design a great treatment plan for your PT patients, or an exploration of the gap between inpatient and outpatient health services.
We’re looking for passionate writers interested in exploring the unique aspects of the field, from career advice to clinical tips, personal narratives to culture writing, and beyond.

- Eleanor Gold, PhD
As a writer for NewGradMedia, you’ll receive personalized editorial support. Our managing editor will work with you throughout the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to organizing and polishing your writing.
Because we now have a large number of writers contributing to the site, our publication calendar tends to be set up to two months in advance. This gives us time to work together to make your writing the best it can be.
We provide a style guide, writing coaching, and we’re working to bring you webinars on writing, blogging, and SEO tips!
And, of course, there’s the financial compensation. First-time writers are asked to contribute one piece of unpaid content—for this reason, we suggest that your first piece be something shorter. We pay a flat rate of $50 per article, with bonuses of $25 and up for 6,000 pageviews or 200 social shares. For sponsored posts and columns, we will negotiate higher rates with you.
We promote your content on NGM’s social platforms, but we also encourage you to promote your own writing — and that of your colleagues! By starting conversations, we build community. (We firmly believe that there’s no such thing as over-promoting quality writing.)
